3rd Combat Battalion

The 13th battle company for Germany, stationed in what used to be Athens, Greece. This company is unusual for its use of 4 squads, instead of the normal 3 per company. Additionally this company uses a single core mech for each member in their squad. A unit's weapon and equipment load out is what differentiates each unit in a squad from one another.

Pyre Squad: Long range Heavy fire support

mechs

Leo (1).png

ZMC-01 Ash Leo: the standard Pyre squad mech. Equipped with a range of indirect kinetic and energy weapons.

Sagittarius.png

ZMC-02 Sniper Sagittarius: As the name implies, this unit is equipped with a crossbow themed energy sniper rifle, which it uses with deadly accuracy. Often equipped with LRSA-17 armor for improved accuracy.

Aries.png

ZMC-03 Aries Buster: Heavily armored alto equipped with multiple Missile pods and mini-guns. But their most notable weapon is a triple barreled rail cannon, which this unit gets its name from. One is enough, Two is overkill, Three is a war crime.

Depth Squad: Aquatic assault squad

Cancer.png

ZCW-01 Ocean Cancer. Standard depth squad mech. A melee focused aquatic unit that is equipped with pincer claws on each hand.

Pisces.png

ZCW-02 Pisces Swimmer: An ocean cancer equipped with extra thrusters and equipped with multiple ranged kinetic weapons. Able to swim circles around their foes. Often deployed as aquatic scouts.

Scorpio.png

ZCW03 Abyss Scorpio: the final variation of the ocean cancer, designed for operating at depths that would crush other mechs. Armed with the same forearm mounted pincer claws as the standard Ocean Cancer, they have swapped out bothe of their legs for a pile bunker tipped, aquatic thruster equipped “Tail”. They will latch onto their foes and drag them down to a watery grave, being crushed by intense water pressure.

Gale Squad: Aerial Support squads

Libra.png

ZCA-01 Atmos Libra: Standard gale squad unit. Not designed for combat, but more so for supply transport and aerial extractions.

Aquarius.png

ZCA-02 Rainfall Aquarius. An Atmos Libra equipped with missile pods and extra thrusters to make swift bombing runs.

Gemini.png

ZCA-03 Gemeni Gunner. An atmos libra that replaces its arms for extra thrusters and two rail guns. The reduced weight and extra thrusters make this machine move faster than any other mech at the Gale squads disposal.

Gaia Squad: Ground infantry

Capricorn.png

ZCE-01 Capricorn Trooper: the standard Gaia squad mech. Armed with a rocket launcher as a standard issue weapon.

Virgo.png

ZCE-02 Virgo Spy. lightly armored and equipped with smoke dischargers, this unit gets into and out of combat while striking with a wide assortment of melee weapons

Taurus.png

ZCE-03 Taurus Breacher: deployed when subtlety is not necessary. Equipped with numerous thrusters and a large War axe and treads. This unit will charge into their foes, using its momentum to wreck the target. This tactic is lovingly named the “Asterion Charge”.
